Quinoa Garlic Scape Patties

Try making these wholesome, nutrient-packed patties that perfectly blend the earthy flavors of quinoa and brown rice with the mild, zesty punch of fresh garlic scapes for a healthy, vibrant dish that is as delicious as it is good for you.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of roughly chopped garlic scapes
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon whole Psyllium Husk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon mixed spices
  • 1/2 tsp garlic escape salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For cooking on stainless steel pan: 

  • 1 teaspoon of avocado oil or 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or 1 teaspoon of ghee.

Preparation:

  • Mix well all ingredients, and let it sit for 5 minutes while preparing the pan with 1 teaspoon of avocado oil or coconut oil or ghee on medium temperature.
  • Drop mixture on heated pan by tablespoon or the amount needed for the size of the patty you would like. I use silicone molds to keep a defined shaped.
  • Cook until edges of the patties are browned then flip to cook the other side for 1 minute.
  • Enjoy with a few drops of scotch bonnet garlic sauce. Cheers to your health!
